  • Will anyone see my telephone number?
  • Nope. Your telephone number, email address, any personal information is always kept private.
  • How do I send a SPONTT?
  • Go to the home Page and click the Send a SPONTT button. It will lead you to the SEND A SPONTT PAGE. -Fill in a text-able phrase explaining your event (SPONTT), -Fill in the time of the event (A SPONTT is only active for 90 minutes so the event must be within that time frame), -Fill in the location. Your SPONTT will be sent from your location for all who want to receive it!
  • How do I receive a SPONTT?
  • Go to edit settings on your profile page. Select from the main categories you are interested in and click the boxes next to the categories you want to receive. You will receive your desired SPONTT's as they are sent out.
  • How much does it cost?
  • SPONTT is a free service. However your standard text fee's do apply.
  • Do I need anything special to use SPONTT?
  • All you need to use SPONTT is an internet connection or a mobile phone. Once you're in, you can send and receive SPONTTS. To get an idea of what other people are saying or doing on SPONTT, check out the map. You can search by keyword or just check out the flags.
  • Can I edit a Spontt once I post it?
  • Nope. Once it's out there, you can't edit it.
  • How do I report spam?
  • Report spam by following the Bug Tracker link, and send us a direct message. We'll look into it right away!
  • How do I change my phone number and or email address?
  • SPONTT uses your email address to let you know about changes to your account. Change your email address in your account setting page. SPONTT never shares your email address with 3rd parties. 1. Log in to SPONTT 2. In the upper navigation bar, click Settings 3. Change the Email Address 4. Enter your password 5. Save your changes Go to you profile(control) page and you can edit any of you personal information by clicking on the edit your information tab in the upper left hand box.
  • How do I change my SPONTT preferences?
  • You can turn on or turn off any SPONTT feature by going to your CONTROL PAGE. On the upper left corner choose EDIT SETTINGS. In the upper left hand corner of that page you can choose ACCOUNT. On that page you can edit anything having to do with your account. Also in the upper left hand corner you can choose SPONTT SETTINGS from there you can edit and valdate your phone number. You can turn on and off your phone availability or your ability to receive texts on your phone.
  • How do I delete my account?
  • Deleting your account removes your profile from SPONTT. After deletion, associated account information (such as user name, email address, etc.) is unavailable for use. If you wish to use your user name or email address with a future account, be sure to change them in your settings page before you delete your account. You can delete your account in your account settings page by clicking "Delete my account" at bottom.
  • How can I view my SPONTT'S?
  • Make sure you are registered! Go to your PROFILE PAGE to view all of your active SPONTT'S and all your previous SPONTT'S.
